Puerto Rico

June 9 - June 28

Basketball in Puerto Rico is becoming some of the best in the US.  Recently, they won the Pan American championship.  This has filtered down to the college and high school level as well. This summer we have a unique request to bring a high school and college team to play against Puerto Rican club teams. The focus of this tour is to accelerate both basketball and ministry to the athletes in this country. Besides the games, most days the team will be help conduct clinics for younger athletes. The team will also have the opportunity to love on underprivileged children through clinics and orphanage visits. Each day the players will also be involved in team times where applying biblical principles to athletic situations will be taught and discussed as well as having opportunities to share one's faith in Christ. Although Puerto Rico is considered part of the US, our cultures are very different.  The tour will be full of experiencing this culture.   Contact Craig.Sladek@athletesinaction.org for more specifics on this tour.

South East Asia

Early August - Late August

This team will be a combination of NCAA and NAIA players.  The tour will be going to South East Asia to play in a tournament and to play some exhibition games against college and pro teams.  We will also participate in some camps/clinics.  On this trip you will have an amazing experience in discipleship as well as do ministry in another culture in a way that will change your life.  Coach Kelly Combs will be the tour director and head coach.  Coach Combs has coached college basketball for 20 years and has also coaches several teams on international trips  the last 5 years.  If you would like to join this tour or would like to get more information please email Kelly.combs@athletesinaction.org .
